⚠️

Common mistake: credits do NOT expire at the end of the calendar month

A member who joins on the 25th does not lose credits on the 30th or 31st. Their credits run for 30 days from their join date. A member who joins June 25 has credits until July 25 — not June 30.

The Rule
Credits run for 30 days from the member's join date — then reset
Join Date Jun 25
+
Credit Window 30 Days
=
Credits Expire Jul 25

Credits refresh on the same date each month — the member's billing date. Any unused credits from Cycle 1 expire on July 25 and do not carry over. Cycle 2 credits are a fresh allocation.

Right vs. Wrong
❌ Wrong
Member joined June 25 · it's June 28
"You only have 2 days left to use your credits — they expire on June 30."
✓ Correct
Member joined June 25 · it's June 28
"You have until July 25 to use your credits — that's 27 days from now."
Practical Guide

How to Check a Member's Credit Expiry

1

Calculate from join date

Find when the member joined → add 30 days → that's when their current credits expire.

Joined: June 25
Expires: June 25 + 30 = July 25
2

Check CRM or Golf Manager

Go into Zoho CRM or Golf Manager and look at the member's credits. The expiry date is shown directly on each credit — treat it like any other credit with an expiry.

Look for the credit line → expiry date column → that's your answer. No calculation needed.
📌
The bottom line: treat membership credits exactly like any other credit — check the expiry date and go from there. The 30-day window starts from when they joined, not from the 1st of the month. When in doubt, open CRM or Golf Manager and read the expiry date directly off the credit.
